poesia^® manufactures new seals for the replacement of old and defective seals on older properties according to the customer's specifications. The warehouse in Unterkulm has over 5,000 different types of seals.

The innovative company produces and assembles seals made of a wide variety of materials such as silicone, TPE (thermoplastic elastomers) and EPDM (ethylene-propylene-dien rubbers) for doors and windows. In most cases, the poesia^®seals areused in the retrofit area in older windows and doors.

Necessary information
poesia^®  requires the customer to provide the exact window dimensions, including the measuring point (fold or outer dimension) and, if applicable, the customer commission information. The desired material type is also necessary. In most cases, the correct type of seal is in stock. If this is not the case, poesia can produce the necessary seal type for the customer. Highest precision
Once all the information is available, the seal is cut to the required length with the 45-degree miter cut by hand in the factory in Unterkulm and glued together in all four corners. Depending on customer requirements and material, welding, vulcanization, splicing or injection is also possible as an alternative to gluing.

By far the most common type of processing is the bonding of seals made of TPE and EPDM. This type is inexpensive and offers all the necessary advantages.

However, the material must be taken into account when processing: silicone is rather unsuitable for bonding and welding is only possible with seals made of thermoplastic elastomers. Vulcanization can be applied to silicone and EPDM. Splicing is the latest process and is used, among other things, in EPDM profiles and only works with elastomers such as EPDM, silicone, etc.

Commission information
Before dispatch, the seals are labelled and picked. For larger superstructures, different seal lengths are often required for different window sizes.

In order to make it as easy as possible for the fitters, the seals are provided with the information in which room the associated window is located. After delivery, the customer can easily install the custom-fit seals in the window frame/sash.

Important function
Seals serve to protect interiors from too much heat in summer and in winter the heat remains in the house. Impeccable seals noticeably help the residents of the properties to save money.

Platinum-crosslinked silicone
poesia^®  also specializes in the production of seals that are made of platinum-crosslinked silicone and must cure for 24 hours after gluing. The seals produced in this way are particularly suitable for use in devices in medical, pharmaceutical or food production.

Availability
poesia^®  produces the seals according to customer requirements in small to large series and the delivery time is usually 10 to 14 days. Smaller quantities can be delivered as express orders in one to two days.
