TPE thermoplastic elastomers

The thermoplastic elastomer combines the properties of vulcanised rubber with the easy workability of thermoplastics. Extrusion lines can be used to produce profiles with a wide range of geometries. They form an interesting and inexpensive alternative to EPDM and VMQ.

Important properties include:

high elasticity, flexibility and firmness as well as good resilience
excellent weather resistance, ozone and UV
high heat resistance above 100° C
very good low temperature flexibility down to -50° C
good elastic and mechanical characteristics
easy to dye
excellent welding properties
excellent longevity
good resistance to water, acids and alkalis
adapted for standards compliance (RAL, DIN, FDA)
environmentally friendly and recyclable
good paint and colour resistance

An excellent elastomer material

Important properties include:

very good weather resistance, ozone and UV
high heat resistance above 100° C
high low-temperature flexibility down to -40° C
good paint compatibility, even aqueous acrylic dispersions
good resistance to air pollutants
produces no corrosive or toxic gases in the event of a fire
