The Swiss Plastics Expo will take place from 17 to 19 January 2023 at the Lucerne Exhibition Centre. The poesia-group will present selected products from its interesting range at its stand (E2136 in hall 2).

One of the specialities of the poesia group are high-precision moulded parts made of silicone injection moulding.

These are used in pneumatics, apparatus engineering and in the sanitary sector. The concrete areas of application include, for example, grinders in coffee machines or sanitary products for drinking water treatment.

Environmentally friendly material for the production of seals
At the Swiss Plastics Expo, the poesia group will also be showing highly innovative extrusion parts made, among other things, with bio-based thermoplastic (TPE). The same manufacturing process is used as for seals made of conventional granulate. Only the material is composed differently. The recyclable TPE can be used again later. The poesia group has subjected the new material to a meaningful long-term test, which has been successful. With plastic products produced on the basis of Bio-Thermoplast, the poesia-group ensures an environmentally friendly and sustainable use of its seals for the application in doors and windows. This is once again fully in line with the ecological thinking and actions of this forward-thinking company.

The poesia group employs over 70 people, including four apprentices. It operates at its main site in Unterkulm and at external sites in Hochdorf and Urdorf. It produces plastic seals for applications in the construction, engineering, transport and food industries.
